Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to Cross Browser Sync. By installing our Chrome Extension or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cross Browser Sync ("the Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Subscription and Billing (Paddle)
Cross Browser Sync offers a "Pro" subscription. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the billing cycle.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Portal.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Service provides a backup utility, but we do not guarantee against absolute data loss. You should periodically export your bookmarks locally.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload massive amounts of dummy data to overload our servers.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software.
- Bypass the security or rate-limiting measures.
Violating these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without a refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
Cross Browser Sync is provided "as is". We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost data.
